Designed for a highly experienced owner, this offshore racer & performance cruiser was conceived to play a leading role in the most important offshore regattas, while at the same time adapting to medium-range cruising. She features a state-of-the-art canting keel system, fully contained below the saloon floor, and a full carbon construction, including pre-preg structures.
The hull was designed taking into consideration the high sailing speeds and the reduced heeling angles predicted, with high LOA/LWL and Bmax/Bwl high ratios, full bow volumes, flared mid-sections and an extremely flat aft, together with a pretty small canoe body depth and a reduced rocker.
Cippa Lippa X also features a generous sail plan with a square top mainsail, and a racing-oriented deck layout, without forgetting the owner’s main brief of also wanting a boat for cruising with his family, including his five grandchildren.
